What we're teaching

If only we could really get to know the people behind our favorite YouTube channels! The ability to “subscribe now” gives people the impression that connection is that easy. But connection takes a bit more effort, it takes following and learning from those we want to know. Kids look for places of belonging, places where forgiveness exists, places where they can experience a genuine connection. The Gospels teach us that places like these exist. In these stories kids learn that we can know God through Jesuswe can know forgiveness because of Jesus, that Jesus knows us and wants us to follow himThe message of Jesus is powerful and something we can subscribe to!

Our goal is to make your child's time at church the best hour of his or her week.

Your child will have lots of fun learning about God in our safe, checked-in environment.

We have nursery available for babies and toddlers 3 years and

younger during our 10:30 am service during the summer.

Our kid's church program is for kids 4 years old through 5th grade.

On Sunday mornings, please check your kids in with our Children's Ministry staff in the fellowship hall. Once you have them checked in, your kids will join you in the sanctuary for worship. After the worship set, they will be released to the Kid's Church area with Ms. Jessica and friends. Safety is our number one priority  here at The Springs. All volunteers are background checked and all classes are staffed with two-non-related adults If you have any questions or concerns please contact Tina Zachow, Children's Ministry Director at (616) 581-4941 or tzachow@thespringschurch.info. Wednesday Night Kids starts Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Kids will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships among each other and work on service projects. Kids will learn what God say about serving Him, each other, the church, and the community.

During the month of January we will be learning that no two snowflakes are exactly alike and that God made each person unique and for a special purpose. Our memory verse for the month comes from Psalm 139:14, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

We can't wait to see your kids on Wednesday night!

Contact Tina Zachow at (616) 581-4941 or tzachow@thespringschurch.info with more questions.
