What we're teaching

We are always teaching our kids that we need to love God and love one another, but often times neglect to give them tangible ways to do so.

In this series, we are going to examine a few of Jesus' teachings in depth and discover practical ways we can demonstrate our love for God, family, friends, and enemies, too!

Our hope is that by the end of this series, every kid will be able to say, because God loves everyone, I can show God's love by being kind, I can show God's love even when it's hard, and that ultimately, love is the best choice!

KIDS CHURCH

Our kid's church program for kids 4 years old through 5th grade.

It is designed around a large group/small group format.

Everyone starts out together in a large group for the opener which includes

singing, a skit, and a lesson, and then break into small group crews for discussion.

Crews are broken up by age groups:

Lil' Squirts (4 years old - Kindergarten);

Crew 123 (1st, 2nd, & 3rd Grades)

Dock 45 (4th & 5th Grades)

6:30-8 PM (Sept - March)

At Kid's Creek, we have a rotational style night where kids learn through activities and motion. Stations include: Art, Cooking, Drama, Games, Missions, Science, Spiritual Practices, and Snack. Like Sunday mornings, groups are broken up by age groups: Lil' Squirts (4 years old - Kindergarten); Crew 123 (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grades); and Dock 45 (4th & 5th Grades).
