A safe, fun, nurturing place for your kids to meet Jesus

Whether it is for the first time, or the 100th time, the Kids at The Springs is a place just for kids to meet Jesus. Each age group has their own room designed especially for their developmental stage. 

Nursery

Sundays

9 am and 10:30 am

The nursery is the place just for babies! Joy and play are our goals for your little one in their time with us. Play is how babies and children learn about the world around them. We are excited to play with your child, not just watch them. Each week, your child will hear a story about who God is, and a blessing will be prayed over them. They will be served a small snack when age appropriate. 

Kids Church

Sundays

10:30 am

Kids will join their families for worship through music for the first portion of the service. After this, they will be dismissed with their small group leaders for engaging teaching that is specific to your child’s developmental stage. Each week, your child will hear about Jesus’ life and ministry. This time is not to just fill your child’s head with facts, but to engage them in the story of scripture--seeing that this story is their story too!

After the story, your child will have a time of creative response with play-based learning. This time is an opportunity to respond to the story through art or a sensory activity. The goal is not the finished product, but to provide the opportunity to respond creatively to how God is working in their life.

Our preschoolers-1st graders use a Montessori-based method in their small groups. Our 2nd-3rd graders use an interactive inductive Bible study method for their small group.

Pre-Teen Bible Study

Pre-Teen Bible Study is a discipleship time for 4th and 5th graders where we: 

develop scriptural literacy

explore connections in the story of scripture

practice Bible Study skills

learn how to engage with a sermon

build a habit of prayer

receive encouragement and mentoring

enjoy a delicious breakfast

have lots of fun!

Exploring the Story of Scripture

Creative Response Time

Bookended with large group musical worship, your child will travel through three stations each week (Games, Bible story/Snack, and Creative Response) as we explore the story of scripture and the circle of the church year. From Creation to the New Creation, we will see how the whole story of scripture is connected and centered around Jesus. We will also learn about how the church tells time (the liturgical calendar) as we celebrate seasons like Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Pentecost.
