What is a Life Group?
Life Groups are groups of anywhere from 3 to 10 people who meet regularly in someones home for fellowship, Bible study, accountability, and prayer. In a Life Group you will find encouragement to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ and support when facing life's struggles.
What happens at a Life Group meeting?
Every group is different, but they all have a few things in common. Most groups spend some time just hanging out, talking about the week and catching up on what's going on in life. Then the group will study a subject relevant to the members of the group. It may be a study on a book of the Bible, or it might be a topic like building better relationships from a Biblical perspective. Our groups are designed to encourage discussion and promote spiritual growth. Each
group also dedicates time to praying for one another.
Why should I join a Life Group?
- Because you'll begin to understand the Bible better
(there's nothing like the chance to ask questions).
- Because you'll begin to feel like you're part of God's family
(and not just a face in the crowd).
- Because prayer will become more meaningful to you
(your friends will be praying for you and with you).
- Because you'll be able to manage life's challenges better
(when your friends are there for you, life is very different).
